That's what I was going to say.  And I care about air quality.  All you have
to do is see the yellow stench as you are flying into a major metropolitan
area to care.

But like you said, it will never be "good enough".

I'm just happy that there is a wide selection of products (in this case
cars), and we are able to make the personal choice for what we want.

Remember what it was like in the late 70's and early 80's?  The cars were
terrible.  There are a lot of fantastic cars available today, both practical
and fun (which are rarely the same car).

Actually it's probably good for us.
If air quality is good the politicians and environmental lobby won't have an
argument to get our old cars off the road.
