[DeTomaso] Water temp gauge change with headlights

I'm not sure how it applies here, but the instructions for the FAST XFI ECU state that the biggest problem their customers have is sharing the ground for the ECU.  It's not just a matter of simple resistance, other electrical phenomena (inductance, capacitance, etc.) comes into play.

I like Mikes idea, I work in the wholesale electric generation business and it's common on the electronics to daisy chain grounds but you need to have the proper size wire to do this.

My thought was to run a big, meaty ground wire from the water temp gauge to 
ground.   The fact that the other gauges are tied in to it means they 
should benefit as well. 

Maybe a project for tomorrow...we'll see....
