[DeTomaso] Recaro

[The Goyaniuks]

I have Recaro LSC seats in my car.  I installed them in the early 90's. I find them very comfortable for long drives as well as spirited sports car driving.
I am also 6'1" tall.  So headroom is a premium.
I researched the Recaro mounting brackets for my car and found that they chew up too much headroom
In order to make them fit as close to the stock floorpan And keep the fire and after seat adjust tracks, I made custom mounting brackets.  This included removing the aluminum spacers as well as just the undercarpet insulation that resided under my custom brackets.  (I used the brackets as a template).

I used BMW Performance Recaro, latest series option, bolted directly to the
floor.
headroom not an issue to me (I'm only short)
