Since all the stock brake lines use European bubble-flairs, I've never seen
a fitting over here that didn't need the ends of the lines cut off and
reflaired to SAE 45 degrees. Made worse by the Euro lines being slightly
undersized so they don't clamp tightly in SAE double-flairing tools without fussy
shimming. It's far easier to replace OEM lines with U.S-made ones, or with 37
degree AN fittings. Note that std brake line needs double flairs to keep
from cracking but replacement stainless lines only need single flairs.

When doing any of this custom work, be sure to connect only the rear lines
together and the front lines together with no cross-connections. I also
suggest rerouting the front brake connecting line under the front trunk floor,
away from the battery. Many are badly corroded where it passes behind a stock
position battery. If you later drop the battery below for more front trunk
room, a cleaner look and a little better balance, the connecting line will
need more re-routing, so plan ahead. Good luck, Ron- J Deryke
