[DeTomaso] Seafoam?

Funny you should ask....

My BMW mechanic told me about a couple of months ago. I had never heard of
it before. Interesting that you can put it in the gas and in the oil.

My backup track car is a 98 M3 with 225K miles. Lifter noise on startup and
a weak cat that that sets the CEL every 300 miles.

I poured 1/4 of the can into the oil, and dumped the rest onto the gas tank.

Lifter noise went away and the CEL has been off since then (2K miles).

Works for me.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Seafoam?

Folks,
Anyone use Seafoam in their gas or oil? Was going to do an oil change and
I heard good things about putting seafoam in your oil for a few hundred
miles before an oil change.
FYI-300 miles is a year for my car. :)
Thanks !!
