I also have spun many bearings
seems like going sideways does not
keep the oil in the pan along with running
up the rpms so high that the floating valves
serve as a rev limiter... now older, wiser 
with good oil pans, rev limiters, forged rods
and pistons to help keep things in the bottom
end of the motor where they belong instead
of scattered on the track for me to pick up and
put on my desk for reminders
