[DeTomaso] A cautionary tale...

My '66 Coupe with the 425 HP 427 was my favorite to date.  I may yet buy a C6 or
C7 at some time.

I've had a number of Corvettes, my favorites were my 70,85 66 in that order!
They were all pretty fast, ran well and didn't leak when it rained! I'll have to
say the quality of the build on 70 compared to my 73 Pantera was much better!
And yes, my Pantera leaks if I drive it in the rain! Yes, the 74-79 Corvettes
were under powered, that's one of the reasons I never bought one! Over all they
are nice Cars! OH, and the AIR worked great unlike the air in my Pantera! LOL

I'm sorry to hear about the fire, hopefully no one was hurt? Oh, engine fires
don't just happen to the other guy! I had a engine bay fire in my Pantera about
two years ago! YES, it sucks!
