Hi guys,

Got this from Stephane Bergeron in Paris, speaking about one of our mutual 
friends:

So sad for Claude, remember?, and his 71 corvette (which was mine 
previously) .

Yesterday he started the car after replacing his jets , but had a loose 
connection on the intake gas line to the holley carb, and fuel fell on the hot 
exhaust, et voilà ...  (he had an electric fuel pump )  :<(((

Yes, it can happen that fast, particularly with a plastic car.   Take 
note....
