[DeTomaso] what is the purpose of the long throw clutch slave?

Marino's shop in St Petersburg FL was the first with a specifically-cast ss 
long-throw slave cylinder, but he sells to some of the other vendors, too. 
Ask around. And rebuilder seal kits are available as well, even though I 
know of no one who's needed to rebuild theirs yet. Being stainless steel, bore 
rust from adsorbed water in brake (clutch) fliud is not an issue- a little
