You need to feed her more often and she'll stop grazing on your car.

I think the no-bumper cars look a little weird in the front. Note - I said
a "little" weird instead of a "lot" weird. It's a look that might grow on
you.

I like the small chrome bumpers on the Pre-L, plus I like the small Kirk
Evans bumpers for L models. I like the big L bumper too, but I prefer the
early small bumpers.

BTW, my wife grazed my car with the Honda about 4 years ago. It put a gash
in the Honda. It left some paint on the chrome bumperette, but that was it.
So, they aren't useless. They're just mostly useless.

BTW2, if word gets back to my wife that I posted about her grazing my car, I
will deny it. I never lie, except when I need to save my skin.

Body,

For some ideas, try the registry if you have not already done so. Go to:

http://www.provamo.com/Members/Registry/SearchBumpers.asp

And select none for the front type, and various options for rear, as some
cars have no front but still wear a rear bumper.

The "None" & "None" selection returns like 226 cars... for example.

Chuck

I am thinking about having my car reprinted (I have a 1973 narrow body L
) I really like the looks of a no bumper car. What are the opinions ( or
alternatives) to complete removal of the bumpers? Can you paint the front
bumper to match the Brody color? Do you think the small bumper estates
really offer any protection? Any alternative ideas? Boyd
