[DeTomaso] refinishing the front trunk

Can dirt or moisture come up through there?  Become the birthplace of rust
in the future? If so, I'd tap each one with the rounded end of a ball peen
hammer and fill the divet with body filler, sand flat, rattle can prime it
and recover with felt.
