[DeTomaso] Headers - Apologies to Steve Wilkinson

Perhaps not, but even though my question was innocent enough, I felt like a
dumba** for not making it just an anonymous question. We all know humans
are human, but none of the vendors like having their good name associated so
publically with a something like this. You are right, Steve is handling the
issue and all will be taken care of.

Just a lesson learned on how we use the forum. The internet is a great
tool, but like any tool in your shop, you have to be careful how we use it.

I don't think an apology was necessary.

I don't think anyone on the list took it the wrong way.

Anytime anyone makes a large number of anything, there are going to be some
bad parts.

Steve W. has a reputation for making it right.

So Mike...

Did Steve pay the freight both ways on the bad set and send you a new set of
headers?

A few days ago I posted a question regarding my options on addressing header
flanges on a set of SS headers I had recently received from Steve Wilkinson.
It seems it was a one-time glitch, Steve and I have spoken to put things in
order, and the issue is being resolved with the utmost professionalism

I wanted to publically apologize to Steve for any implication that my
question may have shed a negative light on his excellent work and customer
service. The efforts and generosity he and his company have put forth in
recent years have been a major boost to all of us in the DeTomaso community
working to keep the flame alive.

That has not changed.

Sincerely:
