I hope that you are not referring to my email. Notice the big "If" at the beginning of my sentence, and the last sentence: "#1, I would probably mow around them!!!" --Bill Lewis

See how rumors get started? Someone mentions AMI and Spencer without any facts. Shame. Sandy

If I were a typical yard-person in America today, and saw a nest of eggs - do you think I would smash them for fun, a la, a teenager - or would I stick those suckers in my pocket for supper!! #1, I probably would mow around them!!! ---Bill Lewis

If this is the work of FF AMI, I would happily volunteer my time to assist in relocation, not that I am familiar with this activity, but I would do what I could to prevent this destruction from occuring. If it is the Lawncare folks, they have an intrinsic duty to be more carefull.

My initial reaction was, "those idiot teens!" but it just occurred to me maybe it's the AMI in corroboration w/ Spencer lawn people that they are eliminating the eggs periodically to keep the population in check.

I've lived near the lake by Keith for past 9 years or so and haven't seen any cute little ducklings wobble around at all. I also know that AMI got rid of ducks near the lakes at the front of FF on Mason due to ducks bravely crossing the road and get run over (don't you remember seeing dead ducks so many times before but not recently?!) So, maybe this is their doing as well.

To be honest, I do not want to have too many ducks around my house, not that I condone the way they are doing IF that's them doing it. I think there're other humane ways.

So, yesterday, was there people cutting grass OR spraying fertilizer, etc. where this incident happened??

Let's keep our eyes and ears open to prevent crime (is that a crime?), and hopefully to get help for and change the minds of people who think that's OK.
