Um, no on the torque lifting the rear end. The torque on the output shafts
is transmitted to the body using the engine mounts and the trans mount(s).
This torque will try to tilt the body back.

Most cars have the carb angled down in the front because the engine is
tilted down in the rear to make it easier to get the transmission under the
firewall.  The tilt is to level the carburetor, not tilt it down to help
with fuel slosh.

Panteras have the engine mounted level, but they have intakes from front
engine cars.  That's why we have a problem.

Panteras lift in the rear under hard acceleration.  The torque lifts the ZF
in the front, which lifts the engine, which unloads the engine from the
frame, which causes the rear of the car to rise - and probably the whole
car, not just the rear.

Leaf spring cars squat because the leaf springs twist, which makes them
shorter.  The squatting makes the tires spin easier.

Late model Mustangs also squat because the rear housing rotates.

Ladder bars prevent squat, and instead lift the rear, which plants the tires
harder.

I think I got mine from Summit-it's a 6* angle and was about $26 iirc.
