When I had my GT5 converted from R12 to R134a in the year 2000, they
filled it with 1200 grams. It had a (leaky as it turned out) Hall
compressor at the time.
I replaced the compressor with a new Sanden 508 in 2009, and the AC
finally works without requiring annual charging.
