[DeTomaso] Investments

It is of my opinion that economics and life are very unpredictable.

I hope to be alive another 40-50 yrs and if some emergency or investment opportunity came up, I'd want maximum liquidity out of any possessions.
Also, I have about 20 cars on my "Must Own" list. They only way I could see owning more than a few of these at a time would be to sell and trade up.

Are there cars out there that you guys want that are shooting up in value? I always think about grabbing something before they hit the stratosphere even if it means trading my current dream car.

I'm probably one of the younger people, and I really don't care what my Pantera is worth since I have no intention of selling it.  I also don't view it as an investment; it's mainly for fun.  If it appreciates, great, icing on the cake.  However, I won't do stuff to the car that may be a sticky selling point since you never know what could happen.  Life isn't guaranteed and changes are expected.

The Pantera probably won't ever be or replace a 401k for me.  Wish it could, but I seem to always miss the $12k Cobra Daytona in the days (before I was born) when you could buy one for that.
