I lost two impellors on my windsor waterpumps that
were SVO but really Edelbrock...I also lost the pressed
on shaft on my Mustang Edlelbrock water pump which
destroyed my radiator, alternator and almost sent the fan
thru the hood... and finally my pontiac had a fairly new Edelbrock
water pump that started leaking in less than six months
 
No more Edlelbrock for me.. The flowcooler pump in my pantera
has been working for several years now at 7000 rpm plus!
