There are cut-rate Campagnolo replicas available too, for a bit less, but
I'm not a fan.

Still true. I've had several sets pass through my hands in recent weeks,
on their way to European owners. Steve Liebenow won a set (for his
Mangusta!) at the Fun Rally, and Lori bought it from him. The tailpipes are
configured for L-model bumpers, so I shipped them back to Steve, and he cut and
repositioned them for a Pre-L configuration for only $75, and shipped them
back.

They are sitting in the livingroom at the moment (of course!) but she'll be
installing them (with a bit of adjust supervision and tool-handing) next
weekend....

I am very, VERY impressed with this system, especially for the price. If
I lived in Europe where driving in rain is a fact of life, I might consider
the stainless steel version, but otherwise I'd definitely go for the mild
steel version.

I'm not terribly impressed with the header gaskets that he includes with
them (although, to his credit, he DOES include header gaskets, along with the
hardware to connect the tailpipes to the headers). We got Remflex gaskets
instead.

Mike
