I like my Chinese made covers.

I have a polished pair and a black krinkle pair.

The originals were made in So-Cal by B&M, but I don't think they've been 
available for awhile.   Larry Stock has tooled up to have repros made in
China 
(I think).   They look basically the same, until you see them side-by-side 
and then subtle differences appear.   He has them in both black krinkle 
finish and polished aluminum; I think the cost is $165 or so.
