[DeTomaso] oil Coolers?

I would think that if someone was building a high HP engine, they might think of having various parts of the engine coated so as to keep the heat where they want it. Check out Swain Tech Coatings.

Because my engine was originally from a NASCAR series Craftsman truck and
makes 600 hp. 180 water and 210 - 220 oil is more than acceptable. In
race tune, it would have 245 degree oil and water at 250-275 degrees.
Plus I have AL heads which disapates heat better than cast iron, which
relieves the water from cooling even hotter heads, thus the disparity in
the water and oil temps.
If I had a stock 330hp engine with cast iron heads, i would guess the temps
would be more equal.
