Since you are going to have to rig up a method of attaching the fans to the
radiator, you're much better off arranging them in a sucker configuration
where they are more effective. You don't have to lay the radiator forward
to accomodate flat sucker fans. However, you should not rely on the fan
mounting hardware that comes with the fans (simple zip-ties that pass through
the fins of the fragile radiator) since they will act like little saws and
create leaks. Instead, having an aluminum fabrication shop weld mounting
brackets to the frame of the radiator to accomodate your fans.
Alternately, if you already have your radiator, you might convince a
Pantera vendor to do the work, as they are already set up for such things.
Personally, I have had great luck with heavy-duty stock-style replacement
fans, sold by Hall Pantera and several other vendors. They fit in the stock
fan brackets but are much more effective than the feeble stock fans. That
is certainly an easier solution, I think? Although admittedly the fans
are a bit expensive....
