First, check to see if in fact your buckets are the serialized ones for 
that car. If so they will have the actual s/n stamped in the bottom of the 
buckets (cannot be seen unless removed). Replacement buckets may not fit well no 
matter what you do as, there were at least two different buckets. 
Second. shimming to align headlight buckets must be done in two planes: 
back & forth on the stock-huge holes, and up/down with shim washers or a 
hammer. Our minds don't work well in two planes, so this adjustment is NOT 
intuitive. A further complication is the possible loss of the stock plastic 
bushings on both ends of the raise/lower bar that causes random shifts in bucket 
position, or collision damage that used one or both replacement fenders with 
different sized openings. Good luck- J Deryke
