[DeTomaso] NPC: Porsche Boxster overhaul

There is an interesting letter in the newest Hemming's Sports & Exotic
magazine ( Sept 2012 ) that arrived last night.
It basically states what has been said here, the reason that Boxsters
do not hold their value is the high cost of repair and disposable
engines with cheap internals ( the water pump impeller for instance is
plastic ).  The gist of the aricle is, drive the hell out of it until
it breaks and then get another one if you like it that much.

I sure still miss my old 911 SC Targa, it was built when Porsche's
were still built with pride.
