Aside from the other replies AFAIK the rack was produced by ZF or Cam
Gears/TRW.
 
I have a ZF rack in my series 3 Longchamp.
 
These may be the same racks as used in the Maserati QP111 in which case  you
could contact Bill McGrath here in the UK who have a bunch of spares for the
older cars:
