[DeTomaso] rear trunk inner tub

Bob,
I bought fabric intended for covering speaker boxes for my tub. It's not the
most heavy duty but I won't be driving heavy stuff in the tub anyway. It's
also easy to shape over uneven surfaces and the edges stay nice without
hemming. I used fiberglass mat and polyester to fix cracks and damaged edges
before covering the tub. To get the old mat off, a putty knife and a solvent
not aggressive to polyester should do it. Turpentine perhaps?

Subject: [DeTomaso] rear trunk inner tub
Deaf Fellow Friends ,
I am taking a trip in early august and just pulled out my inner tub for the
trunk and it looks ratty .
I need to figure out how to strip the old fabric out and replace with new
fabric.
Any ideas on how to remove the old fabric ? The glue that must have been
used is like petrified. The fiberglass has also cracked in corners .Epoxy or
fiberglass?
Where can you buy the inner tub fabric?
Open for any and all suggestions.
Best ,
