[DeTomaso] Suggestions on how to repair cracks in the fiberglass ina door panel

I also had the upholsterer hide the holes that mount the "door pull". I don't know what to call that part. It is the part that is made out of wood that you pull to close the door.

At any rate, the stock setup uses 3 screws and 3 rubber plugs to hide the screws. My upholsterer omitted a few stitches by the holes. When you put the screws in, you peel it apart. Once it is mounted, you push it back, and you don't really notice the missing stitches. The benefit is you don't see the 3 plugs. Granted, 2 of them are hard to see anyway, since they are so low.

I plan on keeping the small screws on the bottom, front and back, but I plan on using plastic clips for the top. My door panel is finished, but not mounted.

I thought about asking him to cut big round holes for non-existent speakers, just for old times sake, but I decided it was better to cover it properly.
