[DeTomaso] Video of Italian Car Assembly...Detomaso?...Re: How cars are assembled in Italy

Mike Drew and I were given said licenses a few years ago, as well as the
keys to the DeTomaso Guara demonstrator car and the Guara Barchetta.

You CANNOT imagine the feeling of immunity! :-)

(The license is really the PROVA license plate, which exempts the car from
pesky traffic laws like, say, speed limits...)

It's still, 11 years later, one of the driving highlights of my life. An
afternoon swapping cars with Mike and driving in the Italian countryside,
a-la 60 minutes.

Mike is a good person to know ;-)

Nice video piece!

I wish we had special licenses like that of Sr. Balboni available to us,
sure would reduce the trepidation factor when driving.
