[DeTomaso] countach

Apparently journalists try to envision owning one car to do everything. So, we have to watch these people trying to parallel park a Countach or drive a Z06 Vette over a cobblestone street in crowded Central London.

When will they understand that people like them aren't buying cars like the Pantera, Countach or 512 BB so their evaluation criteria isn't worth much more than a cursory laugh?

I've had a downdraft a few years ago and have many, many hours behind the wheel of a Countach. They are exceptional performers when setup properly by enthusiasts who know the cars.

"But the people who said that the 289 (Cobra) wasn't a good handling car didn't know what they were talking about. Compared to what?. That FIA Cobra handled like a dream -- and was fast too." -- Dan Gurney

That was Jeremy Clarkson I reckon...
But he had no clue how to park it anyway.
I have a 86 QV since 20 years ago and it is easy to park anywhere.
