Yup. Happened to us one Sunday 60 miles from home coming back from 'Vegas. 
The leak was thru the metal of one rear Campy. Mounted up the stock space 
saver and drove the rest of the way home slowly. No problem except the space 
saver spare is basically a 2-ply inner tube so there was no tread left; it 
was junk but did its job. The wheel was also junk due to the pores opening in 
all directions like a sunburst during welding. 
Later, I found out the diameter mismatch between a 275-55x15 on the left & 
the space saver on the right wasted the ZF LSD clutches.... $250 wouldn't 
come CLOSE to fixing all this. Law of Unintended Consequenses strikes again- J
