You can also get these from an aquarium store.

PH is PH. Any test kit should work.

The aquarium kits use titration (drops of liquid until you see a color change or add drops and compare to a chart).

I think they run in the $5/box range, and there's enough to do about 50 tests.

Hi Chuck! Garages use test strips, to check the ph balance. I just called my Orielly's Auto Parts store, the ph test kit they carry is made by WIX, part # 24016, and user price for the kit is $21.99. Pass this along on the "net " also, please . mike gilmore ----- Original Message -----From: cengles at cox.netTo: larry gilmoreSent: Thursday, January 26, 2012 12:51 PMSubject: Pantera coolant and pH

Dear Larry,

Dumb question: how does the home mechanic quickly and easily check the pH of the coolant?

I understand pH, but I don't know how to go about testing the coolant's pH.

Warmest regards, Chuck Engles
