[DeTomaso] Meziere water pumps

Bill, I have an electric waterpump on my Chevrolet. Not a Mezier but very similar billet pump. Two advantages that haven't yet been discussed are - it frees up a small amount of horsepower. Same with an electric fan vs a clutch fan. Just less drag on the motor. I mean underdrive pullies are made to create more flow at a lesser loss of power, the next logical step is no power loss at the expense of cooling.

I would need to freshen up on my data but I believe the gains are enough that maybe some would consider them significant. maybe 5-10 horse? Also with an electric pump and electric fans, you can circulate coolant and cool the motor when it's not running. This was popular in my drag racing days to recover more quickly on cars that ran hot, after several passes, or would at least benefit from running much colder.

Just something to consider.
