As the proud owner of both a Pantera and a 427 Cobra replica, I can say
that as fun as the Cobra is (and it's a LOT of fun!) I would never forsake a
Pantera for it.

Also, the Superformance cars take some unfortunate liberties with the
design, in order to accomodate the 460 motor which is taller than the 427 was.
The top of the hood/dash is several inches taller, and the windshield is
shorter to compensate. When you see a SPF Cobra parked next to a real one, or
one modelled more accurately after a real one (such as my Contemporary),
they look weird.

The SPF has a much better suspension design than my car though. I would
never re-buy my own Cobra, although I'm not going to sell it either.

If I didn't already have one, today I would only consider a proper Shelby
CSX 4000-series replica. They're not that much more expensive, and they are
so much better/more authentic....

Mike
