What a race.  Both Lambos were LP400 Periscopas, there was also a Miura, a
Porsche 928, a number of 'Vettes, a Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer (or 512 BB) in
addition to the Daytona.  Great video, thanks Mike.

NPC: Caught this link on YouTube when the race video was done: a Lamborghini
Jota SV.  Now, there can't be too many of these.  It's a Japanese link,
looks like the car is for sale, but it's a left hand drive.  Interesting
body work.

Hi guys,

Okay, here's something from WAY out in left field!

It's a supercar race held at Suzuka, Japan in 1978.   Lamborghini Countach 
and Miura, Ferrari Daytona, Corvette, Porsche 911, and both regular and Gr4
Panteras all taking to the track at the same time, fighting tooth-and-nail,
in the rain!

The Pantera kicks ass! But the Countach driver has bigger balls, and when
the Pantera got balked (ironically, by a slower Pantera), he gets by and
pulls away for the win.

Great footage nonetheless!
