[DeTomaso] How to lubricate a new speedometer cable

Graphite powder is a great lubricant, you can get 'cable or lock ease' or 'liquid graphite' or similar products sold as speedo cable lubricants which are graphite powder in a volatile liquid which then after application evaporates to leave the graphite powder.
