I liked the first map better.

You guys know I started this tongue-in-cheek, right?  No offense intended.

It is interesting talking to people that never travel, especially when the
discussion comes to their view of the world.  I am amazed at how clueless
people are.  For the most part, it doesn't matter, but what makes Americans
dangerous is their military combined with their lack of knowledge about the
world.

I didn't travel much until I met my wife.  I had been to nearly every U.S.
state plus Canada and Cancun, Mexico, but that was it.

My wife has been all over: Africa (Botswana), China, Alaska, England, Spain,
France, Germany?, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, New Zealand, Tahiti,
Argentina, Chile, and several more that I'm sure I missed.  And she wants to
visit everywhere - eventually.  The only continent she's missed is
Antarctica, and yep, she wants to go there too.

We plan to visit Thailand later this year. After Thailand, I want to see
Holland.  My grandfather was born in Andijk, so it's sort of a pilgrimage
for me.
