Will do. I've got a 403C sitting on the dyno now. It has high port heads
but I'd be happy to use up a set of head gaskets swapping on a set of
closed chamber 4V heads for a test. I've also got a stock (non-GTS) set
of Pantera exhaust manifolds and ANSA mufflers, along with a set of Hall
headers and exhaust to compare it to. Steve's new set up should make a
bunch more power than those. I keep telling people there's more power
to be had in the exhaust than in a typical cylinder head swap.

Both of my Panteras are running Ford Motorsport high port heads so they don't
fit. There are a number of other local Pantera owners who may be interested.
I'm pretty sure I know who is making Steve's stainless steel exhaust and they
make a very affordable set of long tubes for my 1987 Mustang GT 5.0L that I
plan on buying. The Mustang turns 25 years old this year and qualifies for
historic vehicle status so no need for inspections any more in St.Louis.
I'm helping a local MGBV8 guy design a set of headers that he plans to have
fabricated in stainless. Steve's price is excellent. You can hardly buy the
material for that price.

Are you sure of that? The company that I think is making his headers typically
uses Japanese spec SUS-304 stainless steel. I've never heard of 209 stainless
and don't see it in my stainless steel reference book and I don't get
any google
hits either.
