Looks like Tesla may have purchased the design rights to the DeTomaso Deauville as they're now beginning to market their new SUV, the Model X, which bears a striking resemblance to the Deauville (which itself was purchased as a completed design exercise from someone else). Some lines appear to be massaged a bit, but overall the cars almost look like twins.
