Just a note to advise any of you interested in owning your name (
www.michaelshortt.com for example ) or your business name that was
previously unavailable
 or outrageously expensive, the very limited opportunity to own your URL
via the  ". CO" is happening right now.

I wanted a particular name for a project we are working on and the price
for .com was $4,088, the .co price was still 11.99 this morning so I
snapped it up
clearly their records are not  synchronized or this would not have been
allowed to happen.

If you are interested, the best place to set it up is www.bulkregister.com,
 IMHO GoDaddy is a PIA, I have first hand stories of domain transfers that
took
court orders from those clowns.
