Hi Bob,

Check fuse #12. The hazard warning and the turn signals share the same flasher.

Verify that you have +12 volts on the pink / black wire at the flasher terminal #49a.
Ignition switch must be on.

If that checks good, then check for +12 volts on the pink / black wire at the molex type
connector for the turn signal switch (it's above the steering column). Ignition switch
must be on.

If that checks good, then check for +12 volts on the light blue and light blue / black wires
at the molex type connector for the turn signals (or check it at the molex type connector
for the hazard warning switch. Ignition switch must be on, and the turn signal lever moved
left and right. These blue wires are on the "switched" side of the turn signal switch.

There is a possibility that one or more of the contacts inside of the hazard warning switch
could be going south (maybe they went south for the winter and haven't returned yet. : >) ).

The turn signal flasher is located behind the driver's side kick panel door (late caars), or
above the passenger side footwell (earlier cars).

Let us know what you find.

John
