[DeTomaso] Why support the registry?

No, I paid $30,000 and sold it for $35,000 and I was sued for $35,000 plus
damages and legal fee's (I was deemed liabel for the persons sales taxes
and interest payments he had made between the time I sold him the car and
the time the police realized it was a stolen car with altered vin plates
(it was almost two years after I sold the car)  it came out to $50,000.
When was the last time you priced a Land cruiser and two lawyers (his and
mine)? This was some time ago but a new Land Crusier now is over $70,000
The police were unable to locate the person that sold me the car (the
crook) so I could not serve him and attempt to recoup anything.
