[DeTomaso] Profiles

I think my email was out of the loop for a while, so I haven't been following this thread, but for what it's worth; I really enjoyed the latest edition of Profiles. In fact, I think it's the best one ever. Of course, I'm a little biased since my car was on the front! I know some people are disappointed that it wasn't finished sooner, but as I've said many times, it's risky to be too critical of a volunteer's work, unless one is prepared to take over the job. These days, life has a way of being busier than ever--often to the point of being overwhelming--and sometimes it becomes impossible to juggle all the balls at once.

It seems to me that putting together Profiles is a huge amount of work, and considering the very minimal annual POCA dues, receiving even one per year is a good deal. This is especially true considering the monthly newsletter we receive (which are really more like magazines in and of themselves) which are fantastic.

I was thrilled to be chosen for Pantera of the quarter, and in working with Mike as he gathered the pictures and other information for the article was struck with his demand for perfection and attention to detail. For example, I had to send him three sets of pictures of my front brakes before he found one good enough for the article.

Certainly, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, and I respect that, but I personally appreciate the effort Mike puts into every issue of Profiles, and his ongoing contributions to the Pantera Community.

Sincerely,

Chris Kimball
President, Panteras Northwest
