[DeTomaso] Factory paint?

Hi guys,

Fred Phillips just bought the red Pantera L that was for sale in New York, 
with only 786 original miles on it.   He asked me if it came from the 
factory with laquer or enamel paint, as he's afraid the laquer would suffer in 20 
below temps on the way to Calgary.

I am 99.9% sure the original paint is enamel, but am interested if anybody 
knows different?
