I'm with Kirby here. I have the cable shift in my Superformance GT40 as well. It's an improved version engineered by Dennis Olthoff, but it's still just a tad vague when compared to the more positive feel of the shifting in my Mangusta. (Never thought I'd hear myself say that.)

I have a cable shifter in my GT40. It works OK, but I'd love to have the
rod shifter that's in the Pantera in the GT40.
Rod shifters are easier to adjust and must more positive when shifting.
At least, that's true of my cars and, of course, that is my opinion.
