[DeTomaso] Removing ANSA resonator tips?

I did notice quite an improvement in RPM when I switched from the old
style Borla stainless mufflers
to the  2 1/2 inch inlet and outlet Flowmasters. The Borla's were quite
restrictive, smaller internal pipes and reflective baffles.
The engine seemed to pick up 300-400 revs at the top end.
