>>>I don't have one, but you'll hear from owners soon enough. Broadly,
they were built in two series--2000 and 3000 serial numbers. There were
substantive improvements to the 3000-series cars; among other things the
drivetrain was moved to the rear 14 cm (if my memory serves) for better weight
distribution, and the steering system was changed as well. The GTS model also
had some slight chassis changes.
I think there are about 20 in the USA? That's a guess.

>>>You bet. That car was STOLEN (figuratively speaking) when it went up
for sale on E-bay; I think the buyer paid only $17K for it or something
ridiculous like that? I definitely should have bought it for that money!
It's owned by a guy named Richard Klein in upstate New York (Yorktown
Heights) who coincidentally is the only remaining *original* owner of a 1966
Shelby GT350. He bought that car, did virtually nothing to it, and a few short
months later he was invited to display it at Amelia Island, surely the
cheapest ticket into that expensive piece of real estate, ever!
I'll send you his contact information privately....
Cheers!
Mike
