[DeTomaso] DBelectrical return policy stinks

Dear Jerry,
It's unfortunate that you had problems with your experience with DB
electrical. I purchased a starter from them for my Pantera and after
waiting over 6 months before installing the starter I had a problem when I
did finally install it. I called DB and they sent me a new starter WITH NO
CHARGE FOR SHIPPING , *before I even returned the original starter!* It
turned out the problem was with my wiring NOT THE STARTER. My mechanic
insisted in installing it his way instead of following the wiring
instructions that came from DB. DB does allot of business on eBay.* They
have over 129,000 sales and a 99.8% satisfaction rating.* It seems that
your experience was an exception. I was and am extremely happy with my
experience with them and would not hesitate to do business with them again.
Their price for a PMGR starter can't be beat and the starter has more
torque hot then my old expensive starter had cold ( I replaced my original
starter due to a hot start problem which the DB starter completely
resolved.)
