Phil,

EZ Electric Power Steering (http://www.ezpowersteering.nl/) already has an
electric power steering conversion kit for the Pantera. The amount of assist
is adjustable and they also incorporate a VSS, so the amount of assist
decreases as speed increases. They are in the process of having the
conversion TÜV approved, so they can sell it in Germany.
