[DeTomaso] windshields and dash removal

You can definitely replace the windshield on a 1974 without moving the dash.
Years ago I had mine replaced on the road at a regular glass shop without
any problems.

Can't seem to find this info anywhere.
I need a definative answer. Can the windshield in a 74 be replaced without
pulling back the dash or must it be out of the way?
I'd like to save the rubber if I can.
I'm going to a pro glass shop for this job b ut would pull the dash back
before I went if neccessary.
