[DeTomaso] A machine screw as a tire plug

When I was a teenager, the gas stations used to plug with a gooey string
like thing on the end of a screwdriver-type tool.

They would pull the nail or screw driver, rough up the hole, push the
stringy plug in and cut it off the excess.

I'm sure you guys all know what I mean.

The plugs they use these days are completely different.  They apply the
plug/patch from the inside.  It is a patch/plug combo.  As long as it is
not applied at the bead or an edge, it holds very well.  I have used them
many times.
