That's just a hop skip and a jump of 200 miles. It's getting late in the day
but I bet there's a bunch of trucks etc. heading to the Monterey Peninsula
for this weekend and your the man with 'cotacts' in every corner of the
globe, even though Bakersfield is a bit out in left field.
 
You could try Uship.com, its a bidding process, just enter details of what
your shipping with your timeframe and small independent carriers bid on it.
If they happen to have something passing that way anyway that is LTL you can
get some pretty good deals as thay look to make up the load. 
 
Failing that maybe get a $50 UHaul trailer and run down and pick it up.
